Flexibility Is King with Remote Work

If you would have asked anyone three years ago if they ever thought they would be working remotely, they would probably laugh at the question. Remote work seemed like a luxury that few people would ever get to experience before COVID-19 shut everything down. Now, some companies plan to go remote 100% of the time, while others are exploring hybrid models.

Remote Work Has Made Employees More Flexible; Shouldn’t Their Workspace Be Flexible Too?

Reasons are plentiful, but two that always come up are employee safety and how remote work flexibility leads to happier and more productive employees. The only problem with remote work being permanent is that not every home has an office or even a room devoid of distractions, which is where the YOURspace office pod comes in.

How Remote Work Helps the Work/Life Balance

If remote work only has one benefit, it eliminates the time spent commuting, which can add up to extra hours in a week for employees to take care of personal business. Employees can also use their break times to do things around the house, like starting a load of laundry, which gives them more free time in the evening. Jobs that are extra-flexible will even allow employees to set their own schedules to be as flexible as possible, which means no stress about things like medical appointments or child transportation. Employees with less stress are happier employees, and happier employees are more productive employees.

What Are YOURspace Pods?

YOURspace pods are a unique device that creates a private and personal office space in the home or other communal spaces. These portable office spaces come in eleven different sizes and offer different colors and finishes to flexibly blend them into any existing space. The interiors are completely customizable, with an option to add windows, magnetic dry erase boards, height-adjustable desks, and other options to maximize comfort and productivity. In many cases, the pods will look like they were always in the room but create a private and quiet place for remote workers to get work done distraction-free.

How YOURspace Pods Boost Productivity

Comfort

Makeshift offices around the house are workable, but they can be uncomfortable. Sitting on a hard chair at the dining room table can be a real pain in the you-know-what. These ergonomic pods are made to save your back and wrists with an adjustable desk that will be the perfect height for you. Ventilated ceilings and floorless designs make for a comfortable environment that never feels too hot or stifling.

Quiet

YOURspace pods have up to four layers of sound dampening material that keep out the sounds of a busy household—no more distractions or constantly having to apologize about the noise on conference calls and video meetings.

Organization

One of the many customizable options is a magnetic dry erase board that can be conveniently used to write notes, add calendars, and much more. Beyond that, YOURspace pods offer a singular, safe place where all of your work material can be stored, so there is no more searching the house for paperwork that was left out.

Separation

The one drawback to the flexibility that working from home provides is that the lines between work and home can blur. Having a YOURspace pod allows you to have a clear separation between your workspace and home space.

The New Normal

Remote work is the new normal, and it doesn’t look like it will be changing anytime soon. An office pod can turn any place in your home into an office or turn one office into multiple offices. Working remotely calls for flexibility on the part of the business and the employee, and these flexible pods are ready to meet that challenge.
